Our October went out with a bang! Halloween was a blast. We have so much candy in the house that its hard to stay away. :) The boys dressed up in all boy glory. Nick was a zombie, Jacob was a scary goblin, Matthew was a ninja, and Joshua was spider man. When did they give up the cute costumes for the scary ones? Boys will be boys I suppose. The weather was wonderful! In Nebraska its kinda a dice roll. We have had some wonderful years and years that Halloween was cancelled for weather reasons.
My mom also came to visit this past weekend. She hadn't been trick or treating with the boys before so it worked out to be a great weekend. She also came down to help me paint Lily's room. What a chore that ended up being! The room had been the boys toy room so it had to be cleared out then the wallpaper had to come down. Wow that was hard! Then to my surprise under the wallpaper there was purple paint splattered all over the walls. So then we had to sand the walls and then we finally got to paint. The walls are a soft yellow. We still have a ways to go with the decorating but at least the hardest part is behind us!
