We have arrived in Korea!!! The trip has been amazing so far!!! The flight to Chicago was smooth and quick!!! We had a 3 hr layover in Chicago and grabbed a Chicago dog for lunch!
We waited to board the plane to Korea and our names came across the intercom. I started to panic a bit! We headed up to the ticket counter and as they spoke Korean to each other they asked us to sit down for a bit. When the man came back he said that they were trying to get us better seats for our flight! Better seats is a understatement!!!! We were moved to Business class! I felt a little overwhelmed and the tears started to flow! What a wonderful way to start off a trip of a lifetime! We had our slippers, drinks as we set down, and lunch and dinner that was 5 courses! Also we had pods, with our own TV, gaming systems, you name it we had it! Seats that laid all the way back into a bed. We have been spoiled!!!
Our van driver was waiting for us in Seoul and took us to our hotel the Somerset. It is beautiful. 2 bedroom 2 bath with a kitchen and washer and dryer.
Dave and I decided to try to stay up so we went to sight see a bit. We saw a beautiful buddhist temple, and found our way to Insadong. We are now home and ready for bed!!! It is 6:30 in the morning at home and in our bodies right now!!! So night night! I hope you like the pictures!
